This year’s theme, Past Forward, invites us to look back in order to move ahead. It’s about understanding how yesterday’s ideas shape today’s innovations and inspire tomorrow’s visions. With this in mind, we’re calling on all those who want to contribute creative, inclusive, and forward-thinking projects.
Researchers, artists, organisations, science enthusiasts — many of you will help bring the festival to life through performances, hands-on experiences, interactive exhibitions, and inspiring encounters. The aim? To spark curiosity, encourage meaningful exchange, and create a real sense of connection with the public.
But Science in the City is also a celebration of ideas, where local communities actively take part. Together, we’ll create a meaningful journey where past, present and future come together through science and creativity.
