STREET FESTIVAL

Bongu! Hello! Bonjour! Hallo! Bongiorno! Namaste! After a two year hiatus in which we took to the screens and indoor theatres, Science in the City is back on the street! This time in Fort St. Elmo from 6–11pm on the 30 September with our Theme Taking Root!Stands with experiments, games, art installations, hands-on activities, demos and plenty of interaction are ‘Taking Root’ in Fort St Elmo. Digital gaming, genetics, psychology, sports, renewable energy, engineering, cultural heritage, neuroscience, statistics, mental health and our main focus, the environment, are among a few of the topics you can play with this year. Come celebrate 10 years of Science in the City with us, we can’t wait to see you all in person!

Science in the City is part of the EU-wide celebration, European Researchers’ Night. It is co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Programme, under grant agreement No 101061120, the Arts Council Malta (ACM), Esplora STEM Engagement fund and a number of corporate sponsors. It is recognised by Europe for Festivals and Festivals for Europe (EFFE).
