Our interns are a vital part of the team, adding new ideas and perspectives to the Festival.

Being an intern is a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional development. As an intern you will develop transferable skills and meet new people who can share their knowledge and experience with you. Within the Science in the City internship you can work in a number of different areas which you can tailor to suit your interests and passions in a way that also allows you to be challenged so that you can grow. This internship is a unique opportunity to promote an inspiring Festival which celebrates innovation, active citizenship, science and the arts.

SPRING/SUMMER SCIENCE COMMUNICATION INTERNSHIPS 2025

  • Internship call opens: 18th November 2024
  • Internship call closes: 6th January 2025
  • Evaluation of applications: 7th January – 13th January 2025
  • Interviews: 20th–24th January 2025
  • Interns Selected: 31st January 2025
  • Interns Start: 14th April or 23rd June 2025
  • Sign the contract: 24th February 2025
  • Internships End: 13th October or 29th December 2025.

 

AUTUMN/WINTER SCIENCE COMMUNICATION INTERNSHIPS 2025

  • Interviews: 19th – 23rd May 2025
  • Interns Selected: 30th May 2025

We have internships that range from 4 to 12 months in duration.
