Join the MCAST Applied Research and Innovation Centre for an immersive journey into research dedicated to building a more sustainable future! Featuring interactive displays and VR/AR experiences highlighting their latest sustainability projects, MCAST research integrates environmental and climate justice principles into key economic sectors, offering practical and accessible solutions for local businesses.

Discover the MED-WET project, which tests sustainable irrigation methods in Mediterranean countries to address water scarcity. Using VR headsets, you can virtually visit experimental farms and see these technologies in action.

Additionally, experience the AMBULANT project, which utilises AI to automate the identification of marine habitats and species. Through VR, you’ll be able to compare AI-driven identification with traditional methods, gaining insights into the benefits of these technologies.
