Step into the world of robotics with MCAST’s Institute of ICT and Team Malta for the FIRST Global Robotics Challenge.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the students representing Malta, see their competition robot up close and learn how it is being designed, built and programmed. The team will explain the problem they are solving, the engineering choices behind the robot, the code that controls it and the teamwork needed to compete on an international stage.

This hands-on activity connects directly with the theme Research, Resist, Reimagine. Through research, students explore real-world challenges and turn ideas into working solutions. Through resilience, they test, fail, improve and keep building. Through imagination, they re-think how technology can be used to solve problems and inspire others.

Visitors will also be able to try out interactive demonstrations and discover the different study paths offered by the Institute of ICT, including software development, networking, game development, data science and cybersecurity.

Whether you are a student, parent, educator or simply curious about technology, this is a chance to experience STEAM in action and see how young people in Malta are using creativity, critical thinking and robotics to build the future.
