Event Details

The Game Design Workshop: Using Game Mechanics for Social Justice and Change took place at the Valletta Design Cluster and explored how game mechanics can influence ideas, behaviours, and social values. Led by Mighty Boards and the Institute of Digital Games, University of Malta, the workshop introduced participants to the game design process, from prototype to final product, and gave them the opportunity to experiment with their own game concepts. Through hands-on activities, participants discovered how modifying game mechanics could shape the messages and experiences conveyed by a game.
