As part of the theme, Research, Resist, Reimagine, Earth Systems Association is exploring how everyday decisions leave a hidden footprint on our planet. Armed with a budget of 20 black “carbon” ping-pong balls, your mission is to navigate four interactive investigation stations and keep your emissions as low as possible.

Station 1: The Commute – Investigate different modes of transport. Will your daily journey burn through your carbon budget?

Station 2: Inside the Factory – Peer behind the curtain of global industries to uncover which manufacturing sectors pollute the most.

Station 3: What’s on Your Plate? – Stack up your favourite meals and discover the surprising carbon toll of everyday foods.

Station 4: The Carbon Sinks – Discover which natural environments absorb the most carbon to balance your footprint!
