Bioblitz - Aliens Are Among Us!

The FAST Project team organized the country’s first-ever bioblitz, inviting anyone interested in safeguarding local biodiversity to take part.
Throughout the event, participants worked alongside fellow citizen scientists to identify a number of alien invasive plant species around the Buskett Natura 2000 site.
These species had already spread throughout the area or had the potential to do so in the future.
Participants only needed a smartphone — or access to someone who had one.
