This interactive online workshop introduced participants to the process of training an AI system through a series of hands-on challenges inspired by the values of Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.). By exploring scenarios related to art, culture, and bias, participants discovered how AI systems learn from data and examined the impact of incomplete or unbalanced training datasets. The workshop highlighted the importance of fairness and diversity in AI development and demonstrated how biases can emerge in AI-generated outcomes.
