Centre for Literacy, University of Malta | "EduRoboKids - Social Robots as Learning Companions"
Street Stand, Pjazza D’Armi – Fort St Elmo, Valletta
Friday, 30th September
Tommy wakes up recharged, gets ready, and goes to school. He attends lessons, helps some of his mates with their work, and gets to play with the other kids during break. Tommy is different from the other kids. He is a social robot and can demonstrate a range of emotions and is extremely sociable. Meet Tommy and the members of the Centre for Literacy to hear about how interaction with robots like Tommy may improve children’s communication and problem-solving skills!
