Explore the Arches - Staging Science

Festival Area: Staging Science

Organisation Description

Feedback Loops brings to life experiences with illness through dance, music driven by live body data and quotes from research participants.

Produced and lead by researcher Alina Ivan, it is a collaboration between creatives (Anna Spink – dance, Dan Wimperis – music, Chris Scott – filmmaking), RADAR-CNS researchers (Andrea Biondi, Matteo Martinis, Valeria de Angel, Alina Ivan), software developers (Yatharth Ranjan; Pauline Conde) and a bioinformatician (Callum Stewart), with help from people with lived experiences of depression, epilepsy and multiple sclerosis (patient advisory board lead by Dr Sara Simblett). With thanks to Ed Saunders for lighting design and the Blue Elephant Theatre.

The team is based in London, Bristol, and Milan.

Science in the City is part of the EU-wide celebration, European Researchers’ Night.
