Organisation Description

The Classics and Archaeology Student Association (CASA) is a non-profit organisation based at the University of Malta, founded with the aim of encouraging and promoting interest and research in the study of classics and archaeology.

A Taster of the Full Archaeological Experience

Video which explains in some detail the excavation process in its entirety, from the choosing of a site to post-excavation.

Retelling of students experiences

The retelling of experiences by past students who have excavated at Tas-Silg and other sites before. These students will talk about their own memorable experiences and even some mishaps, and what they have learnt from this experience.

Science in the City is part of the European Researchers’ Night, an EU-wide celebration. It has been funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (under grant agreement No 101036030), and a number of corporate sponsors. It is recognised as a Festival by Europe for Festivals and Festivals for Europe (EFFE).
