2017 - Today’s Research; Tomorrow’s Future
The 2017 edition of Science in the City was held under the theme Today’s Research; Tomorrow’s Future, highlighting how current scientific research can shape the society of tomorrow. The programme brought together science, technology, and the arts through a range of interactive experiences, with a particular focus on innovation and future-oriented research. A key feature of the festival was the internationally acclaimed installation Light Pushes Stuff, created by Late Interactive (Toni Gialanze and Andrew Schembri), quantum physicist Professor Andre Xuereb, and Danielle Farrugia, which had previously toured Hong Kong and Germany.
