In MEGALITH, the research team is developing ways to preserve the megalithic structures in Malta.
Without knowing the environmental conditions prevalent to the structures we cannot really understand the degradation processes that affect individual stones and megaliths.
Through artificial intelligence, they are researching ways to predict long-term degradation of the temples and possible ways to mitigate it.
