Through an excellent case study of the on-going Gran Salon conservation project, participants can experience conservation science.
Expert Conservators will highlight the important role of conservation together with the methods used to preserve this unique site. A heritage scientist will discuss how research unearthed useful information to the conservation project, which showcased how science is a pivotal tool for understanding the complexities of cultural heritage objects. Research helps set the cultural context and use of our heritage.
Attendance is on a first come, first served basis with presentations taking place at 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, and 10pm.
