The first 2 activities, at 7 and at 8pm, will focus on conservation and restoration of paintings. Children will be given an image of a painting with some parts of it missing. With the help of the conservators present the children will be guided on the ways in which images are scientifically reconstructed. The activity will last around 30 minutes.
The second set of activities, at 9 and 10pm, will focus on the restoration of archaeological artefacts. This activity is for adults. The process of conservation and restoration will be explained in detail with the objects restored being available for closer inspection by the public. This activity will also last around 30 minutes.
The museum will also be open to visitors.
